Taking measures to prevent the spread of COVID

14 September 2021

With regards to the Covid-19 pandemic, our team are following guidelines in order to ensure that tenants, their staff and our staff are able to operate in a safe environment. Our reception team at Wittas House continues to provide telephone answering services as well as taking in deliveries for tenants and virtual tenants alike.

Some of the measures we have implemented in order to prevent the spread of COVID19 at Hexagon include:

Social Distancing

Where possible, we ask everyone to socially distance in areas of limited space – toilets, kitchens, stair wells, doorways etc. All  tenants have been asked to be cautious and ensure that they do not cross on the stairs, give way in corridors and generally  respect other people’s space.

Extra cleaning of communal areas

The communal areas are always thoroughly cleaned every evening by our cleaners. ‘Touch points’ such as the intercoms,  staircase bannisters, entry panel, alarm panel and door handles are also cleaned again every day by our reception team.

Face Coverings

Although it is no longer Government guidelines, we encourage tenants and visitors alike to wear face coverings when passing  through communal areas in our centres. Face Masks can be removed when in own office space.

Anti-bac and hand washing

We ask everyone to use the antibacterial gel provided at each building entrance on arrival and as on departure. Anti-bacterial  soap and disposable hand towels are provided at every sink to encourage regular hand washing.

Inside serviced offices

Once within the realms of their own office, it is up to tenants to maintain the correct sanitation and social distancing. We have  recommended the use of a personal hand sanitizer, Perspex screens for desks and frequent cleaning of key boards and phones.

Virtual tenants

Virtual tenants who have 24/7 access to their mailboxes have been requested to adhere to anti-bac and social distancing rules at  all times and to respect tenants space. For virtual tenants who would prefer not to enter the building, we are able to forward their  post to them.

The safety of our staff and tenants is paramount and we will continue to constantly review our procedures. Rest assured that we  are working hard to ensure that our business centres can stay open safely for those with serviced offices who find working at  home difficult.
