What’s Happening at Hexagon in 2024

What better way to hear the latest news and updates about what is going on at Hexagon Business Centres then to hear first-hand from Centre Director Abbie, who we chatted to over a cuppa.

So, Abbie, we hear on the rumour mill that some exciting expansion plans are on the agenda for 2024?

Yes, they are! We are super excited to be expanding our Elmfield Business Centre in Summer 2024.  This is going to provide some much-needed office space and amenities on the other side of Witney, based on New Yatt Road.  Previously occupied by West Oxfordshire County Council, Hexagon Business Centres are delighted to be taking over and converting the space, providing additional office space.  This will include 18 new offices (ranging from 1 -15 person capacity), 3 meeting rooms, 14 co-working spaces and a cafe.   The development of this new site is underway, and we’re delighted to say that just over 30% of this new office space is already reserved.  If anyone would like to find out more, take a look at the plans or arrange a site visit – please do get in touch with the Hexagon Business Centre Reception Team.

What exciting times which clearly shows that the market is crying out for more office spaces!

Yes, it is.  We have several existing tenants who have already reserved a larger space in the new site due to needing more space as their business expands.  This is one thing we’re really proud of at Hexagon – being able to work with existing tenants and provide them with additional space and facilities as their business scales and grows, with limited hassle.  What these moves mean is that we also have additional office space for new tenants – for example we’ll have an office space for 6-8 people available in the current section of Elmfield House in Summer 2024, as well as a slightly larger space for 10-12 people at Witan House.

And your virtual office tenants are also continuing to increase?

We have really seen our number of virtual office tenants grow in the last 12 months and 2024 looks set to be the same.  We’re now supporting many businesses with telephone answering for calls and enquiries and a business mailbox for deliveries, as well as a virtual business address for those tenants who want to keep their home address private.

So overall, 2024 looks set to be an exciting year, as we look forward to hopefully welcoming many more office and virtual tenants to the Hexagon family.
