A Home for Witney Businesses
The following article was published in the September 2019 issue of Letterbox magazine:
With 3 business centres within walking distance of Witney town centre, Hexagon Business Centres is a vibrant hub for small and growing businesses
Hexagon Business Centres was formed in 2011 when they took over the TBAC Centre on Station Lane. Within a few months that original centre was full with a waiting list and so when the opportunity arose to open another centre at nearby Wittas House, they jumped at it. With two established centres on Station Lane the most recent one is across town in Wood Green at Elmfield which has slightly larger offices that suit established organisations looking for the next step on the commercial property ladder.
Hexagon provides serviced offices in various sizes for 1 to 20 people with shared kitchens and communal areas. Tenants are offered “easy in, easy out” terms with a simple monthly licence fee inclusive of rent, rates, electricity and water with optional superfast broadband and hosted communications. Each centre has dedicated parking and Elmfield has an on-site cafe.
Around 60% of Hexagon tenants have physical offices with 40% being ‘virtual’ tenants with just a business addresses and mail forwarding. Hexagon also offers a telephone answering service for tenants, virtual tenants and local businesses where the reception team takes calls in that company’s name and passes on messages.
Hexagon Business Centres provides their flexible and friendly community of tenants, virtual tenants, friends and associates with an environment in which they can network, learn and collaborate with other local businesses. They hold regular coffee and cake mornings and themed lunches where tenants and virtual tenants can network and talk.
Abbie Willcox is the Centre Manager of Hexagon Business Centres. Abbie and her team are based at Wittas House and also manage the meeting room there. The fully equipped meeting room is available to all businesses and is the perfect venue for offsite meetings seminars and training sessions especially given that tea, coffee and biscuits are provided free of charge.
