We love introducing the businesses that make up the Hexagon community, and this month we're sitting down with Saul Branch, Operations Director at Focus Group - one of the UK's leading technology partners, and our newest tenants at Elmfield House.
Welcome to Hexagon! For those who haven't met you yet, what exactly does Focus Group do?
Thanks for having us! Focus Group is a technology partner for businesses across the UK. We help organisations get the most out of their communications, connectivity, and IT, whether that is a phone system that actually works, fast and reliable internet, or a full managed IT setup. We work with everyone from small independents to large enterprises, and our Witney team is proud to support businesses right here in the local area.
What are your main services?
Our core services cover business connectivity, cloud communications, IT support, and mobile. In simple terms, we make sure businesses can communicate and operate without the tech getting in the way, we have 15 offices across the UK, Truro to Inverness!
Why did you choose Elmfield House for your new base?
Honestly, it ticked a lot of boxes. The parking was a big practical win for the team, and being closer to the centre of Witney really matters to us as a local business. The serviced office model made commercial sense too. But if we're being honest, the cafe being open to the public and that whole atmosphere here gave it a different feel to a standard office. It felt like somewhere people actually want to come to work.
How are you finding the community atmosphere so far?
Really positive. The move has actually brought our team closer together, which we didn't quite expect given we moved into a smaller space. There is something about the shared environment here that encourages people to be more connected, with each other and with the other businesses around us. Early days, but it feels like the right fit.
Since you are the tech experts, what's one piece of advice you'd give to the other businesses working out of Hexagon?
