Happy retirement Michele!
Michele Lodge, founder and Centre Manager of Hexagon Business Centres has retired. Michele set up Hexagon in 2011 in partnership with Witney businessman Brendon Cross when they took over the TBAC Centre on Station Lane.
In the 8 years Michele has been running Hexagon, she was responsible for growing the company to operate three business centres in Witney providing a home to over 100 businesses. Michele said: “We filled the original centre within 2 months and soon had a waiting list, so we took over one floor of Wittas House, which was just over the road. In September 2012 we were offered the whole of Wittas House, which we converted into a combination of large and small serviced offices. Our newest centre opened at Elmfield in 2017.” Offices are let on an all-inclusive fee with a one-month notice period.
In addition to easy in, easy out serviced office space, Hexagon provides business addresses for virtual tenants who want to use their address for post and deliveries and a telephone answering service. The meeting room at Wittas House has become well know locally as a venue for board meetings, seminars and training.
Michele adds: “We have so many lovely tenants and virtual tenants here at Hexagon that I’ve seen grow from small beginnings. I am proud to have played a role in developing Hexagon to the successful business it is today.”
Michele, who also worked with Brendon at STL Communications for 13 years, has been an active member of the West Oxfordshire Business Awards team and a long standing member of the organising committee of the Twin Town Challenge charity event, which has raised over £850,000 for SpecialEffect.
